Description

Nymphaea ‘Lily Pons’ is the originates from Lilypons Water Gardens in Marlyand, USA in much the same as ‘Gloire du Temple sur Lot’ was for Latour-Marliac. Both these lilies have sensational peony-like double blooms that elicit much admiration in the water garden.

Potting & Repotting 

Bare root lilies require potting into 2/3 Litre mesh basket

1ltr lilies require potting into a 3ltr or larger mesh basket. All other size lilies do not need repotting but benefit from being potted up. 30 ltr lilies do not need repotting for in excess of 10 – 15 years. There is no need to remove the mesh basket.

Care instructions

Plant in still water away from splashing fountains. Lower gradually so the leaves can stretch to the surface within a few days. Remove dead leaves and flowers during the growing season.
