Description
Pistia Stratiote has lettuce shaped leaves are soft & hairy hence the nickname “Water lettuce”. This plant spreads by sending out runners to form young plants. The fine roots of Water lettuces give good cover for small fish. Pistia are not hardy and do best placed in sheltered pools.

We suggest 2-3 large floating plants per 1m²
Care instructions
Water lettuce is not too hardy. Remove decaying plants after the first frost. It’s very hard to overwinter Pistia Stratiotes as they must be placed in shallow water with soil at the base of the container. They should be kept in moderate light at a temperature e above 15°c.
