Description

The Dwarf Waterlily ‘Nymphaea Ellisiana’ is a vibrant and beautiful addition to any water garden. A compact aquatic perennial, it features broadly oval leaves that are blotched with purple when young. The star-shaped flowers measure 14 cm wide and are a bright red hue with orange stamens. Perfect for adding a splash of color to your pond or water feature, the Dwarf Waterlily ‘Nymphaea Ellisiana’ will thrive in sunny to partially shaded locations.

Potting & Repotting 

Bare root lilies require potting into 2/3 Litre mesh basket

1ltr lilies require potting into a 3ltr or larger mesh basket. All other size lilies do not need repotting but benefit from being potted up. 30 ltr lilies do not need repotting for in excess of 10 – 15 years. There is no need to remove the mesh basket.

Care instructions

Plant in still water away from splashing fountains. Lower gradually so the leaves can stretch to the surface within a few days. Remove dead leaves and flowers during the growing season.
