Product Description
Lobelia siphilitica, known as Great Blue Lobelia, is a moisture‑loving perennial that produces vibrant blue flower spikes from late summer into autumn. Flowering from August to October, it brings strong colour when many pond plants are fading and provides valuable nectar for bees and butterflies.
This clump‑forming perennial develops upright stems with lance‑shaped foliage, adding height and structure to pond margins, streamsides, bog gardens, and damp borders. Fully hardy across the UK, it thrives in consistently moist or wet soils and grows well in full sun or partial shade.
Great Blue Lobelia is ideal for wildlife ponds, naturalistic planting schemes, and rain gardens where reliable moisture is available.
