Description
White, hyacinth-like flowers surmount star like leaves. It grows in wet meadows and on banks of streams. The bulbs were used as the staple diet of Native Americans.

Remove the plant from the pot, and plant in damp ground, in a hole deep enough to accommodate the root ball.

Trim back dead foliage in Autumn.
