Description

Slow growing with gigantic leaves requiring a great deal of space. It makes a good alternative to Gunnera manicata for a smaller garden. The new foliage is an attractive deep mahogany red. It has a tall flower spike.

Repotting or planting

Remove the plant from the pot, and plant in damp ground, in a hole deep enough to accommodate the root ball.
